Tamarack offers Ile de France X Dorset rams and Tamarack Prolific (B+ or BB) rams for sale.

Our rams for sale are selected out of the top 20% of the lamb crop each year using on an index specially formulated for Tamarack Lamb & Wool. All performance is measured on pasture, NOT in a feed lot.

Rams are offered for sale in January-October (as yearlings). Due to the difficulty of maintaining an up to date sales list on the web site, we encourage prospective buyers to contact us for a printed sales list.

What is an EBV?

Prices range from $500 to $1000 for half and three quarters Ile de France rams that do not carry the Booroola gene, to $800-$1500 for genotyped B+ Booroola rams and rams produced by AI.

Photos of individual rams available upon request.

Genotyped BB rams are rare as most of our matings are designed to improve performance, not just produce B genes. When available BB rams will be priced at $1200-$2000.
