The purpose of this page is to provide links to detailed information about grazing and stock management at Tamarack Lamb & Wool in hopes that this information might be useful to others. I certainly believe there are many ways to put together a successful grazing system. The ideas put forth here have been shaped by our local circumstances, which include cheap, but low quality hay, long winters, and cool summers that can grow high quality native grasses in an area where row crop yields are quite marginal and many farms have reverted back to brush. I am always interested in sharing ideas and welcome your comments and questions.
