Norwegian Fjord Horses
|

While deliberating over how to deliver hay to my cattle, I settled on turning a life long love for working with horses into an enjoyable way to get farm chores done.
Introducing the Norwegian Fjord Horse. These wonderful, powerful horses have a calm sensible demeanor making them ideal for an all around horse on a livestock farm. Our Fjords are used to pull round bales of hay into the cow yard, pick rocks, and pull a feed sled. They also provide trustworthy saddle and pack horses for recreation. My non horsey family is comfortable going on a trail ride or assisting me with chores because they know they can trust our Fjords to be sensible!
Below are photos of our Fjords at work and play. We will occasionally offer a young horse available for sale. Our babies are imprinted at birth and reared working along side mom, thus exposing them to many activities, including countless trailer rides before they are even weaned. There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.
